Forchetta Restaurant at Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown

The Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin 15
aaicon Restaurant %

The Blanchardstown branch of the Crowne Plaza empire fits the bill, whether you're suited and booted for business, or dropping by to refuel after a hit of retail therapy in the shops and boutiques of the nearby Blanchardstown Centre. The Forchetta restaurant works a loud and proud contemporary look with bold floral wallpaper and bare dark wood tables - it's a buzzy, breezy setting that suits the crowd-pleasing modern Italian menu. The usual suspects from the world of pizza and pasta are all present and correct, or you might ignore convention and start with a fish soup involving mussels, clams, prawns, salmon and cod in a tomato and white wine broth, and follow with a chargrilled Irish steak, or lamb shank roasted in red wine, garlic and rosemary. Puddings are Italian classics - pannacotta or tiramisù, for example.
