This house was a hunting and fishing lodge back in the 19th century, and following a sympathetic renovation programme is now once again caring for visitors.
Situated right on the edge of Camus Bay, it cannot get any closer to the Atlantic.
Each of the spacious rooms is designed with relaxation and comfort in mind. Unusually there are no TVs in rooms, so one is sure to switch off and relax. The public rooms all retain their original charm and features, most with real log fires.
Dinner is a particular highlight; the daily-changed seven course set menu is driven by the season and the market. An short A la Carte is also available.
Breakfast is also noteworthy for its range and quality. An ideal base for country pursuits, with an adjacent pool and sauna for the less sport minded.
