AA Motorists' Panel Poll is out

date-icon 18 Jan 2013  author-icon Posted by Miriam O'Neill

If you want to take part in the latest AA Motorists’ Panel Poll we’d be delighted to hear from you. Regular correspondents will be familiar with the format; the link below takes you to an online questionnaire which is quick and easy to go through. Among other things we are asking about the phenomenon of ‘one-eyed-monsters’ – cars with one working headlight. You might have heard Conor talking to Pat Kenny about this during the week, and he will be on again on Monday with initial results.

We also add a comment box for every question so if you have more information or have anything to add please do so. The comments that we get are extremely helpful.
You might spot a couple of questions that we have asked before – for example on potholes. This is deliberate because it allows us to track how certain issues have become better or worse over the last year.

We are grateful to everyone that takes part. As we usually say it is quite quick to go through but we get a lot of feedback from people on this. Some want a longer survey to include other issues and some think it takes too long already. If you have ideas on what should be included please let us know, and if you come across any questions that don’t interest you just skip on by.

We are offering a little prize to say thanks to participants; everyone who takes part will be entered into a draw to win Annual AA Travel Insurance for the whole family and €300 in cash. Never a bad thing in January.

If you have any suggestions or feedback for us please let us know at publicaffairs@aaireland.ie. We get lots of emails but those who have sent them will know that we read every single one and we do respond, even if it takes a little time to get through them. We don’t send out an automatic reply that says ‘thank you for emailing’ or anything like that, mostly because I think they are pretty meaningless.

Keep an eye on the blog as well – www.aaireland.ie/blog. Lots there on current issues.
