Christmas Shopping Guide to O’Connell St

Shopping centres in the Henry St/ O’Connell St area include Arnott’s, Ilac SC and Jervis SC. Arnott’s opening hours vary throughout the Christmas period and are available here. The Ilac SC opens Monday to Thursday from 9am to 9am, on Fridays from 8am to 8pm, on Saturdays between 9am and 8pm and on Sundays from 10am to 7pm. Getting There

Car Parking

Car Parks in the vicinity of Henry St and O’Connell St include:

  • Arnott’s
  • Jervis SC and Jervis St
  • Q-Park Clerys
  • Q-Park Ilac

By Bus

A large number of Dublin Bus routes stop in the vicinity of O’Connell St including the following routes:  1, 4, 7, 7b, 7d, 8, 9, 13, 11, 16, 29a, 29a, 31/a, 31b, 32, 33, 38, 38a, 38b, 40, 40b, 40d, 41, 41b, 41c, 44, 46a, 46e, 116, 120, 122, 123, 130, 140, and  747.

By Rail

The Luas Red Line runs from  stops at Jervis, close to the main shopping district. The Red Line runs through a number of areas including Saggart, Citywest, Tallaght, Bluebell and Rialto and it also serves Heuston Station, Connolly Station and Busaras.

A Park and Ride service is available at both the Red Cow and Cheeverstown stops.
