It’s time to answer Ireland’s Call as the Six Nations Championship gets underway this weekend with an exciting home fixture against the Scots at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday.  Kick-off is at 3pm and traffic restrictions will be in place in the vicinity of the stadium from about 1pm onwards.

Age old old rivals Dublin and Kerry get this year’s round 1 of the National Football League off to a great start at Croke Park on Saturday. Throw in is at 7pm.  Delays are likely in the Drumcondra area as a result as match day restrictions will be in place.

Then it’s time to ring in the New Year, Chinese New Year that is! Dublin is set to celebrate carnival style in the Temple Bar area over the weekend. Road closure will be in place throughout the festival. This event is likely to attract additional volumes of traffic to the area and delays are expected.

All in all a busy weekend ahead of us and you can keep up to date with the latest traffic news on www.aaroadwatch.ie or follow @aaroadwatch on twitter.
