We got an email recently from Aidan Williamson and his 4 friends at St Michael Secondary school,Rosscarbery,Co.Cork about their excellent idea to sell Hi Vis L plates, which they've called "The Visu-L" through their Transition Year Enterprise project (in conjunction with the West Cork Enterprise Board). Naturally aimed at learner drivers "The Visu-L" plates means that other drivers can more easily identify learner drivers during adverse weather conditions and at night.
And not only are they great entrepreneurs and doing their bit for road safety, they're also donating 10%of their profits to NRH in Dublin.
Congratulations on a great idea and best of luck in the all Ireland mini company competition which we hear you've just qualified for!
How to get in touch : Anyone who wants to get in touch with Aidan and co can drop them a line to: enterprise people [rossvisu.l@gmail.com] on their school phone(0238848114) or after school hours on 0863053426.
