CORK: Crash on the N22 Ballincollig Bypass Eastbound 1km before J1 Ballincollig has been cleared.
WEATHER WARNING: Met Éireann has issued a status orange wind warning for counties Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo tonight from 7pm until 2pm tomorrow. Gusts of up to 110 km/h are possible, especially along exposed coasts and on higher ground.
A status yellow warning has also been issued for Munster, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Galway and Roscommon. Strong to gale force south to southwest winds will become gale force west or northwest overnight with gusts of 90 to 110km/h. But squalls to 120km/h in some exposed parts of the northwest and north for a time overnight.
Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with extra care as wind blown debris is likely to be a problem on secondary roads in particular. High sided vehicles are especially vulnerable on open or exposed roads. Be particularly mindful of pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.
TIPPERARY/ OFFALY: The M7 Limerick /Dublin Rd is closed today northbound from J24 Toomevara to J23 Moneygall for works until midnight on Wed (22nd). Motorists will be diverted off the M7 at J24, travel along the Nenagh /Moneygall Rd (R445) and rejoin the M7 at J23.
CORK: Works take place on the N20 Cork /Limerick Rd between Buttevant and Lisballyhay until Dec. Motorists are advised to travel via Doneraile instead. Expect delays.
WESTMEATH: The N52 Mullingar /Kells Rd is closed between Killynan North and Turin South for works until this Fri (24th). Diversions are in place.
LIMERICK: Southbound traffic on the N21 Limerick/ Tralee Rd is being diverted at Newcastle West at the Old Pike R/A onto the Buttevant Rd (R522) before returning to the N21 at St Ita's Terrace until Fri 19th Dec. Northbound traffic will remain unaffected for the duration of the works.
