MEATH: The Fairyhouse Easter Racing Festival takes place today and tomorrow (21st). Large crowds are expected today (20th) for the Gold Cup but the busiest day is likely to be on Monday for the Irish Grand National and Ladies Day. Today, the first race is at 2:40pm and the last race is at 5:40pm. On Monday, the first race is at 2:45pm and the last race is at 6:35pm.
KILDARE: The Naas Easter Sunday Parade takes place today. It's due to start at approx 2:45pm and will travel from Blessington Rd onto Main St.
LIMERICK: The National Hurling League Semi Finals take place at the Gaelic Grounds on today. At 2pm, Kilkenny will play Galway and then at 4pm Clare take on Tipperary.
KERRY/ CORK: Rás Mumhan takes place around Co. Kerry and Cork until Mon 21st April. Stage 3 is underway with participants making their way around Valentia and South Kerry. Delays are likely around Cahersiveen, Portmagee, Chapeltown and Ballinskelligs.
CORK: The Easter Racing Festival is taking place at Cork Racecourse Mallow until Mon 21st April. Today, the first race is at 2:30pm and the last race is at 5:30pm. On Monday, the first race is at 1:55pm and the last race is at 5:50pm. Today is Ladies Day and large crowds are expected to attend. To facilitate the event, Davis St in Mallow is closed from St. James Ave to the Clock House until 4pm. Diversions are in place. There will be a free shuttle bus service to/from the racecourse and Mallow Town and train station.
