WICKLOW: Temporary lanes are in place both ways on the N11 Dublin/ Wexford at Kilmurray, south of Lil Doyle's until Feb 2015 for ongoing works.

WICKLOW: A stop/go system will be in place on the N11 near Scratenagh Cross, between Jack Whites and J20 Arklow North, nightly between 7pm and 6am the following morning until Sun 31st Aug. Bear in mind that diversions will be in place on Sun 31st Aug in advance of a full diversion on Mon 1st Sept.

DONEGAL: Works will take place in Stranorlar on Meeting House St (N13)  from McClays Corner to Admiran Park until 3rd Oct. Expect delays. This is part of the N13 Donegal/ Derry Rd so allow extra time for your journey.

GALWAY: Works are taking place on the N18 between Ardrahan and Clarinbridge until Fri 10th Oct. A stop/ go system will be in place from 7am to 7pm Mon to Fri. Expect delays.

CORK: Lane restrictions and a reduced speed limit are in place both ways on the M8 Cork /Dublin Rd between J15 Fermoy South and J14 Fermoy North until Thurs 4th Sept. From Fri 5th, to Tues 9th Sept, lane closures will be just be in place southbound.


GALWAY: Galway City traffic is moving well at this stage.

The Salthill Sprint Triathlon takes place on Sunday 31st Aug. The event gets underway at 8am and one part of the triathalon involves a cycle between Salthill and Furbo on the Galway/ Spiddal Rd (R336) and back so delays can be expected along this route. The triathalon is expected to conclude at around 10.30am.

LIMERICK: There no major delays to report in Limerick City at this stage. 

The Limerick Pride Festival takes place until Sun (31st). This will bring extra traffic to Limerick City as a result so delays can be expected. 

WATERFORD: No major traffic delays in Waterford City. 

CORK: No major delays in Cork City to report at this time.

On Sun 31st Aug, a stop/ go system will be in place on Douglas Rd from 9am to 4pm to facilitate works.

There is a 5k run taking place on Sun 31st Aug at 11am from Pairc Ui Chaoimh to the Blackrock area. Drive with care.


GALWAY: The Galway Summer Rally takes place on Sun 31st Aug. The rally gets underway from Ballinasloe at 9am. Stages 1, 4 and 7 take place in Aughrim, stages 2,5 and 8 take place around Pallas and stages 3, 6 and 9 take place in Flowerhill. The rally is expected to finish at around 6.45pm. There will be a number local road closures in place along the route and diversions will be signposted.

LAOIS: Electric Picnic takes place at Stradbally Estate until Sun (31st). Gardai will be on point duty at various locations on all approaches to Stradbally. Gardai are advising attendees to use public transport where possible. Campsites will close at 1pm on Mon 1st Sept. The drop off point is located on the N80 Stradbally/ Portlaoise Rd and will be clearly signposted. Full details of all transport options to Electric Picnic can be found on our Event Guide or by clicking here.

CORK: Racing will take place at Cork Racecourse on Sun 31st Aug. The first race is at 2.20pm and the last race is at 5.20pm. Cork Racecourse is situated 2km from Mallow on the N72/ Killarney Rd. Extra traffic can be expected in the area before and after the races.

KILDARE: Racing will take place at The Curragh on Sun 31st Aug. The first race is at 2.05pm and the last race is at 5.05pm. The Curragh is located just off the M7 between Newbridge (J12) and Kildare Town (J13). Trains from Heuston Station (Dublin), Waterford, Cork, Limerick and Galway to Kildare Station with a Free shuttle to the racecourse.


WICKLOW: Works take place on the Greystones/ Kilcoole Rd (R761) at the Killincarrig R/As until Tues 6th Oct from 8am until 6pm each day.

KILDARE: A stop/go system will be in place on New Abbey Rd (R413) in Kilcullen until further notice. Works will be in place east of the Naas Rd jct to just beyond the Athy Rd Jct.

LEITRIM: Works will operate on the N4 Sligo/ Dublin Rd between Mohill Cross and Dromod R/A until mid-Sept between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Expect delays.
