WATERFORD: A stop/go system is in place on the N25 Waterford /Cork Rd at Carroll's Cross west of Kilmeaden until 5pm. Delays are expected.

TIPPERARY: Single lane traffic and temporary traffic lights are in operation on the Thurles/Newport Rd (R503) at Rear Cross following flood damage last Thursday (24th).

WICKLOW: A mobile hard shoulder closure will be in operation on the N11/ Dublin/ Wexford Rd in both directions between Lil Doyle's and Scratnagh Cross, from 8am to 4pm until Fri 1st Aug to facilitate works. 

WICKLOW: Old Connaught Ave in Bray is closed from the Ferndale Rd jct to the M11 Flyover until Mon 1st Sept for works. Diversions are in place.


GALWAY: Busy in Galway City on all approaches to Ballybritt Racecourse ahead of the second days racing of the Galway Summer Racing Festival which continues until this Sunday (3rd Aug). The first race today is at 5.05pm, the last is at 8.15pm. 

Elsewhere, traffic is busy around Eyre Sq also outbound on Fr. Griffin Rd. The Tuam Rd is also busy outbound approaching the Jct of Bothar na dTreabh.

CORK: Moving well in Cork City at this time. 

A stop /go system is in place on Sunday’s Well Rd until 4:30pm.

The N25 Cork /Waterford Rd will be closed for overnight works eastbound from J2 Little Island to J3 Little Island until Fri 1st Aug. It will be closed each night from 8pm to 6am and diversions will be in place.

WATERFORD: Traffic is moving well in Waterford City Centre.

Keep in mind that there is a new traffic layout along the Quay for works. Traffic coming from Rice Bridge is reduced to one lane from the bus station to the new R/A. Traffic travelling towards the bridge is reduced to one lane from the Clock Tower to the bus station.

LIMERICK: Nothing out of the ordinary to report for traffic around Limerick City Centre at the moment.

BELFAST: Ravenhill Rd is closed between Ravenhill Park and South Parade until further notice due to emergency works after a large void was discovered under the carriageway. Inbound traffic is being diverted onto Ormeau Rd at Rosetta roundabout, while outbound diversions are via Ormeau Embankment. 



The Galway Summer Racing Festival is taking place at Galway Racecourse in Ballybrit until Sunday 3rd August. The first race is at 5:05pm and the last race is at 8:15pm. Stiles will open each day approximately 2 hours before the first race. Anyone travelling from the city or west of the city should enter via the Green Route on the N17/ Tuam Rd, near Kenny Motors. Those travelling from the M6/ Dublin Rd or on the Oranmore Rd (Old N6/R338) can access the tunnel entrance via the Red Route. There will be no right turn at the N6/ Briarhill jct at peak times.


WESTMEATH: Church St in Athlone is closed for works until Friday 1st August. Local diversions are in place.

A mobile stop/go system will be in place along the N62 Athlone/Birr Rd from 8am to 5pm each day for works until Sunday 3rd August. No major delays are expected.

SLIGO: Works will operate on the N4 Dublin/ Sligo Rd at various locations between Collooney and Sligo Town until Friday 15th August. Bear in mind, rolling works are in place on the N4 between Castlebaldwin and the Roscommon border until this Friday (1st). 

Works will be in place on the N59 Ballisodare/ Ballina Rd between Ballisodare and the Mayo border until Friday 1st August. A stop/ go system will be in place on a rolling basis.

Rolling roadworks will operate on the N16 Sligo/ Enniskillen Rd between Sligo Town and the Leitrim border until Friday 1st August.

Works take place on the N17 Sligo/ Galway Rd at Bellahy Village until approx. Friday 1st August. Expect delays.

MAYO/ SLIGO: Works will be in place on the N59 Westport/ Ballina Rd at Carrowkennedy until Friday 15th August from 7am to 7pm. Expect delays. Also note that a stop/ go system will operate on the N59 between Ballisodare and the Mayo border until Friday 1st August for works and delays are likely.

WICKLOW: Roadworks will take place on Mill Rd, Greystones, opposite Burnaby Park until Wednesday 13th Aug. Expect delays.

WEXFORD: Works will take place on the N80 Bunclody/ Enniscorthy Rd at Scarawalsh. Works will operate from 8am to 6pm each day until Friday 1st August. Expect delays.

GALWAY: A stop/go system is in place on the Leitrim Rd (R351) at Leitrim National School until Friday 8th August for works. Expect delays.

Works are taking place on the N17 Galway /Sligo Rd in Tuam until Wednesday 20th August. Expect delays.

GALWAY/ ROSCOMMON: Temporary traffic lights are in operation on the N60 Castlebar /Roscommon Rd between Castlerea and Ballymoe until Monday 22nd September. 

CAVAN: Works are in place on Farnham St in Cavan Town until Sunday 17th August. Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
