Submitting Your LCV Driver Number

New legislation related to van insurance will come into effect on 1st October 2025. This legislation requires motorists to provide their Driver Number, and those of any named drivers, to their insurer when taking out or renewing their van insurance policies. Failure to submit these details will result in your policy failing to renew

To complete your update, You’ll need the driver number of each driver listed on your policy to hand. You can find the driver number for each driver on the front of their driving licence in section 4d.
