AA Ireland is currently seeking a temporary part-time Researcher/Broadcaster for our Roadwatch department. The position, will be primarily research based and will involve approx. 80 hours per month and will involve shift work. Shifts will mainly be during rush hour (6-9:30am and 4-7pm) Monday to Friday, but will also involve night time (7-11pm), weekend and public holiday shifts. The position is mainly based in our Roadwatch City Centre office. However, some shifts will be based in the Dublin City Council camera room. Applicants should ideally possess previous journalism/broadcast experience/qualification or be studying for a journalism related qualification. Excellent communication and flexibility are a requirement for this role. A keen interest in all aspects of media including social media, video and print are vital for the job. An immediate start date is required so candidates must be available for interview between Tuesday 23rd June and Friday 26th June, with a start date of Wednesday 1st July.
