It’s time to delve behind the emerald curtain and explore the world of Wicked as the Broadway sensation continues its run at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre this weekend. The show is on at 7:30pm each day and delays are likely on Macken St and in the surrounding area as a result.

Then it’s off to the RDS bright and early on Saturday as the Dublin Toy Fair continues until Sunday. The fair will run from 10am until 10pm on Friday and from 10am until 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Don’t forget as well Leinster will play Llanelli Scarlets in the Pro 12 at the RDS on Saturday; with kick-off at 7:15pm. As with all events at the Arena, delays can be expected through Ballsbridge; on Anglesea Rd, Simmonscourt Rd, Shelbourne Rd and Pembroke Rd. However, the heaviest traffic is likely on Merrion Rd.

Finally as we back-flip and a jump our way to The O2, this Saturday Diversity will no doubt delight fans young and old. Doors open at 6:30pm and delays are likely on North Wall Quay, on East Wall Rd and over the East Link.

All and all a busy weekend ahead of us and you can keep up to date with the latest traffic news on aaroadwatch.ie or follow @aaroadwatch on Twitter.
