Christmas Shopping Guide to Grafton St

There are a number of high-street stores and retailers in this area including St Stephen’s Green SC, Brown Thomas and Powerscourt Centre. St Stephen’s Green SC opens from 9am to 7pm Mon to Wed and on Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursdays, the centre opens later from 9am to 9pm and on Sundays, it opens between 11am and 6pm. Throughout the Christmas period, Brown Thomas will open each day, Monday to Saturday from 9am to 9pm, with extended opening hours until 10pm on Thursdays. On Sundays then, it will open from 9am until 8pm. Powerscourt Centre opens 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with a later opening time of until 8pm on Thursdays. On Saturdays, the centre opens from 9am to 6pm and Sunday opening hours are from midday until 6pm.

Car Parking

There are a number of car parks located in the vicinity of St Stephen’s Green and Grafton St, including:

  • Q-Park Stephen’s Green
  • Q-Park Setanta
  • Brown Thomas Car Park
  • Drury St Car Park

By Bus

A large number of Dublin Bus routes serve the Grafton St/ St Stephen’s Green area including: 14, 15, 15a, 15b, 61, 38, 38a, 44, 11, 46a, 145, 39, 39a, 37, 25, 25a, 25b, 66, 66a, 66b, 67, 142, 25x, 27x, 32x, 33a, 41x, 51x, 66x, 67x, and 84x.

By Rail

The St Stephen’s Green and Grafton St area is well served by the Luas Green Line, which runs from Bride’s Glen. The Green line runs through a number of areas, including Dundrum, Ranelagh and Sandyford and its final stop is directly opposite Stephen’s Green SC.

A Park and Ride service is available at stops Balally, Stillorgan, Sandyford and Carrickmines.

This shopping district is also located approximately 10 minutes walking distance from both Pearse and Tara Street DART stations.
