New TD Mary Mitchell O’Connor took a wrong turn and drove down the steps of Leinster house. Mary was quoted “I should have gone to specsavers….”

The AA says: “Forget specsavers…. all you need is AA Membership to protect your car from future driving debacles or damages and AA routeplanner to help guide your way….”

“To be fair, Mary Mitchell O’Connor has responded to the attention with good grace and a sense of humour.” Says Conor Faughnan. “We are all human and not one of us can say that we have never made a driving mistake. Still, she can check the AA Routeplanner for directions in the future!”
