Irish Rail Strike – Travel Disruption on Fri 23rd Oct

date-icon 19 Oct 2015  author-icon Posted by AA Roadwatch

There will be no Irish Rail commuter, DART or Intercity Services on Friday 23rd October from 6am until 9am due to strike action.

Intending passengers are advised to make other travel arrangements. Irish Rail have also advised that this industrial action could have a knock-on effect on services later in the day.

Bear in mind that as a result of the extra volumes of motorists on the roads this Friday, traffic is expected to be very busy and drivers are urged to leave additional time for their journeys. Further strike action is likely on Friday 6th November.
