Localised travel restrictions lifted for county Kildare

Published 7th August 2020Read Time 1 min

Localised restrictions have been lifted in county Kildare as of today (31st). However, continued caution is advised on all journeys in Ireland. While out, keep at least 2m from those you don’t live with, wear face coverings on public transport and in indoor places such as shops, and follow all public health guidance.
Remember too if you’re driving that pedestrians and cyclists may need extra space for social distancing, so take extra care.
All non-essential travel abroad should also be avoided and you should restrict your movements for 14 days after returning from essential journeys, with the exception of the small number of countries on the government’s green list.
