Luas Strikes – Easter Weekend

Luas Red Line

Luas commuters can expect further disruption to services this Easter weekend after SIPTU employees voted to hold additional strikes.

Disruption to services is expected on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th March.  On those days, Luas Red Line and Green Line services are expected to cease all operations. Your LUAS tickets will not be valid on other transport providers. Customers can avail of more information on the Luas website or from Luas Customer Care Locall on 1850 300 604.

Dublin commuters are strongly advised to plan their alternative travel arrangements in advance. If you’re planning on travelling into the city over the Easter weekend, remember to plan your journey in advance. A number of road closures will be in place throughout the city centre on Sunday 27th March to facilitate Easter Sunday Commemoration Ceremony and Parade. Parking will be limited and the following carparks will be closed to the public on the day: Arnotts, Q- Park Clerys Marlborough Street, Irish Life Abbey Street, Parkrite IFSC, Euro Car Parks Convention Centre, and Euro Car Parks Point Village.  Full details of road closures over the Easter weekend can be found here.
